Fines List (social media)

Nathan

Recommended Posts

I've just stumbled upon this image on social media, by the looks of things it's been doing the rounds for the past couple of days. I've no idea who did it but it appears to be somebody with some recent knowledge of the club/team.

Whilst it's obviously a joke (see fine #17), it may explain our recent long unbeaten home run!

I wonder what anyone else make of this?

I've seen this recently somewhere else on social media and didn't give it any more thought as it was obviously done as a joke.

I'd hazard a guess it might have been done by a current or ex player but unless you are familiar with the players characters it's impossible to know who wrote it.

Well, whoever it was, I hope they'll publish the St.Albans one as well...;)

It looks childish and juvenile, but also could be interpreted as bullying and harassment and should have no place in any workplace.

If it is true then major questions need to be asked about the culture in the dressing room.

I think you may have topped yourself with the most ridiculous post SirRebel.

The committee has met and you are fined £1965 for this🙈🙈🙈

So if this is a true document you think it is suitable for a club, who's own safeguarding policy covers issues such as bullying (section 5), to have in place such practices?

It's a big laugh until someone gets intimidated to the point they break.

It's not a true/serious document but one that's obviously been done by someone for a laugh.

That was my first reaction as well. But then I thought, why us? And why now?

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I find it hard to believe that a fan has done this, yet from the references to current players it's obviously someone with at least some knowledge. Given the bit about calling Scotty the G word, new trims and snitching being encouraged, could this be a pop at the club?

Or is it all above board, and is just innocuous fun? So many questions! It's all very strange whatever the reason is!

But I suppose we'll have to call Gary Abisogun "Your Honour" from now on.

It could be anything Nathan.

A list of fines drawn up with some 'banter' thrown in, a fictitious humorous fines list devised by a current/ex player/member of staff or as you say someone having a pop due to far too many rules and regulations.

I can’t believe this is even being discussed. As for the outrage… 🤯

I’d suggest it’s probably real and is a group of young men having harmless fun. Surely we can remember what that was like.

As I’ve said before, it must be exhausting being so negative.

Very possibly the opposite RW.

If it comes naturally it must be quite therapeutic 😅

That’s our fines list and all very normal for a football club to have similar ones to that. A bunch of lads finding any way in which possible to make some money for the Christmas do.

Thanks for the clarification that the list is genuine and all in good fun Scotty.
