Saturday's Arrangements v Torquay United

Recommended Posts

We have been advised by Torquay United they expected a minimum of 450-500+ away support for Saturday. Therefore, additional arrangements will be put in place for Saturday's fixture.

Match Arrangements for Torquay United (H)

This Saturday we welcome Torquay United to the Bridge. We are envisaging a larger than usual crowd for this fixture, therefore for the day to go smoothly, additional arrangements are being put in place.

Tickets
Due to expected crowd numbers, we would highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance for this fixture. We have arranged for additional volunteers to support this to reduce queues.

Purchasing online will speed up entry into the ground as we’ll have a dedicated entrance for online tickets.  Your ticket will be scanned on entry so make sure you either print off your ticket or have the QR code available on your mobile.

Note: Online tickets will only be available until midday (for 3pm kick-offs) or 5pm (for 7:45pm kick-offs) on the day of the game.  After which, entry will be via pay on the gate via either Cash or Card.

Car Park
The car park will be allocated to players, officials and disabled parking only. If you require a disabled space, please email the club on matchday@hornchurchfc.com with your name and registration.

Segregation
Similarly to the Chelmsford City game, we will be implementing “soft segregation” for this fixture. Due to the nature of our ground, with only two sides being used and an expected large away following, to assist with the club with security, we will be keeping supporters in specific areas during the game. This is no slight on either side, its simply to help the club volunteers for this fixture. This will during the match only.

The travelling Torquay United supporters will be allocated a fan zone in the Rom Valley Stand seating (exact allocation to be confirmed) and the adjacent terracing. However, all supporters will be able to use all the facilities throughout. This includes all bars throughout (i.e. the clubhouse, the Jimmy Mac Bar and the Temper Gold Bar). In addition, we will also be providing a temporary bar within the Torquay United supporters zone which will serve Real Ale, alongside other beverages. We are also looking to provide an additional food outlet.

We understand that this decision will be a disappointment to some of our regular supporters, however we are asking for your patience. We are asking supporters with reserved seats in the Rom Valley stand to contact the HFCSA on hfcsa@hornchurchfc.com or alternatively contact the HFCSA chairman Jordan Newman on 07463653129. We will be offering reserved seats elsewhere in the stadium and will make the necessary arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding.
