Disappointing not to get all 3 points yesterday – Bath didn’t look very good at all.  Two tough ones coming up too – but I see Wednesday as something of a “free hit”, so let’s surprise everyone and get a win v The Wood.  You heard it here first.

The prediction league was, of course, dominated by Ozzgate (see last week’s thread if you have missed all the excitement) – but this was resolved amicably enough in the end.  Plus Ozz now knows who his friends are – just the one apparently!  

In Div One Marta has now lost two on the trot, yet still stays top – a measure of her early season dominance.  But it’s getting very tight, with The Lord looming large after a very impressive 14 goal haul while most of us struggled a bit.  If it hadn’t been for that shoo-in Juventus game it would have been a very low scoring week indeed.

In Div Two, it’s essentially Nick, then the rest of you.  Not quite sure how he does it,  but he has conceded 10 fewer than the next lowest goals against column (Blackballed).  You may call this “luck”.  He calls it “prudent close season defensive re-enforcements and a new defensive coach”.  I shall leave you to make up your own minds.
