Anyone know why Carl Mensah has gone back to Bedford? Seemed solid for us in the time he was here

It was refreshing to have a defender win everything in the air, but he did make some pretty dire mistakes along the way (e.g. Maidstone at home). Benjamin seems a step up. I wonder whether there were travel/training issues or simply whether Gavin decided he didn't fancy him after all! The manager certainly has a ruthless streak - just ask Scott Thomas!

Yeah I thought against Maidstone he was poor but outside of that seemed pretty solid for us. I agree about Benjamin hope he’s alright after what happened at Farnborough. 

 

Gavin said there was travel issues involved with Mensah which is fair enough but he’s also said Khanya Leshabala and Joash Nembhard have both left aswell. Thought Leshabala was quite good for us aswell with the minutes he was gave.

We need this sorted… these constant personnel changes suggest there is unrest in the dressing room…There’s a certain manager from down the A10 available with NLS experience…. maybe worth a phone call… 😁

Obvious he trusts other players more then others - which is fair but we’re now close to November, we should have a first 11 with a few rotations at most. Hoping to see that with Aveley and moving forward because if not and results aren’t going our way then the dressing room could turn bleak

I can't see Craig lowering his standards that much. 😂.  BTW Gav is welcome to apply for the Ambers Job if he gets cheesed off over there. However  the list of applicants is growing daily, so he'll  have to get his skates on 😁.

Look on the bright side . The A10 classic will be back next season. 😁
