After a poor start to the season Maidstone have hit form with 5 wins and a draw from their last 6 games culminating with a 3 nil win at home to Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup.

Needless to say a really tough game awaits.

But they’ve yet to win a home league game this season…

Yes 5 home games played  2 draws 3 losses !

Obviously not to say it won’t be easy, but with a poor home league record we have to be going there looking to win and cement our top 7 spot. We need to be aiming for a minimum of 4 points from our next 2 matches.

After going a goal down just before half time that was an excellent point away to a full time side with a budget that must dwarf ours.

Big 3 points to stay in the top 7 now up for grabs on Tuesday.

Full time side? They posted losses of 220000 in June 2023 and said they were semi professional unless there's been a recent development.

Well they’ve stitched Temi right up then! Pretty certain they’re full time this season as they have been for much of the recent past. They made several hundreds of thousands from last years cup run, average near 2,500 and are back in the 1st round this season, they have plenty of mullah! So for little old us to draw at theirs is a decent solid point.

Attendance today was 2240 according to their social media Yes they did very well from FA Cup but have taken large loans from benefactors so not really their money and are still seeking a home league win.

The Maidstone forum scathing about their home failure yet again Say Rebels deserved their point but the game spoiled by indifferent incompetent officials  can anyone who was there comment on this

Wasn't there, but I guarantee they are right about the officials given the standards (or lack there of) we ha e had thus far this season😂

Didn't they make about 2 million from their cup run last season?

I'm sure Temi said he was going there to be a full time player?

That cup run was a godsend Main man Oliver Ash said that the club has loans from shareholders totalling 2.6 million.

Well done Rebels in getting a deserved point.

We did struggle in the 1st half and lucky that Maidstone did not have there scoring boots on.

When they scored late in the 1st half i was expecting them to come at us even stronger for the win but Sam scoring a cracker early in the 2nd half gave us more believe with tweaking of formatìon both sides just not having the cutting edge and calmness in front of goal when good chances came there way to get the winner.

Must be said what a difference  the treatment we as away fans got at there Superb Stadium compared to Woking and other big clubs we we have been to allowed  into the bar chatting with their supporters watching the Premier game food and other facilities standing behind the goal in there big stand next to there supporters great atmosphere and sìnging on a sunny day was fantastic why can.t all clubs do this. 2 coppers at the ground had a deserved easy afternoon.

Well done Maidstone 👌 and volunteers as at every club who keep the clubs running.
