Well this is awkward. 

Firstly - and due to circumstances beyond my control (Baby Jago’s match getting delayed) - I’ve not had time to get to the laptop to load today’s head-to-head fixtures.  Sorry - you’ll just have to believe me when I get a suspiciously fluky one goal win after they do get posted. 

Secondly.  Ozz eh?  So technically he scores zero for a late prediction.  On the other hand he’s got his prediction in before the head to heads have gone up. 

So. As this is a democracy (no, really) let’s have a vote as to whether Ozz’s scores stand. Voting finishes at 10pm tonight as that’s when I should get home.  

Options are

YES - Let the old boy’s scores stand. He’s getting on a bit you know. 

NO - He knows the rules, sod him. 

Simple majority wins, and yes Ozz can vote.    If it’s a tie I get the casting vote (it’s not that much of a democracy!)

But just in case I have my own senior moment I saying YES accept the entry on the proviso it was sent before the head2head fixtures were out.

Well - you couldn't make it up.   Turns out it's me v Ozz.   Also, Ozz wins the vote by 2 to 1 (see as above, even though MikeMike technically missed the 10pm cut-off), so Ozz gets to keep his score.

But my some miracle I will win 10-9 anyway, so everyone's happy! (?).
