So then.  A turning point on Saturday?  Yes of course I’m talking about my long-awaited first win of the season against a hapless Colin who was clearly unable to manage his team effectively from his gondola in Venice.  As an added bonus I’ve pushed Dinamo down to his rightful position on the bottom… happy days indeed.

But it’s not all about me.  (Apparently).  The big game of the day was actually the clash of the top two where Mr D took on his better half, Marta, and came out a surprise winner – albeit Marta stays top on goals scored.  All very exciting though, and it will be interesting to see if they are talking to each other at the Bath game.  Let’s hope so.

In Div 2 Mysterious Nick grinds on relentlessly, steamrollering all before him like a latter-day Fred Dibnah.  And Clive’s team will henceforward be known as "The Wonky Donkey".  You’ll have to ask him – but essentially never bet on one of his racing tips.
