First Time Visiting Hornchurch FC – What Should I Expect?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am planning to attend my first Hornchurch FC match soon and wanted to ask for some tips and advice on what to expect. I have been a football fan for a while but have not had the chance to visit the stadium before.

What is the atmosphere like on matchdays. Are there any particular areas in the ground that are best for watching the game. Also is there anything special I should know about the team chants or traditions.

I am also curious about parking or public transport options what is the best way to get to the stadium. Any good spots for food and drinks nearby before or after the game.

Looking forward to hearing from you and joining the Horn church FC fanbase.

Thanks in advance

Best Regards,

Smithblueprism

Welcome, every new supporter is important to us. Getting to the ground: District Line Upminster Bridge, Maine Line Upminster and District. Buses 370 and 248. As for atmosphere you’re get that, the standing terrace the East Side is where you need to be. Come  along and be an Urchin.

You'd be most welcome at The Bridge. The Windmill pub is opposite Bridge Avenue but we have a more than large enough clubhouse/bar inside the ground. Our turnstiles accept cash or card. Our bars are the same but our burger van is cash only. Hasbeen's Hill, through the bar area, has a large decking area and is a great viewing point for the game. Enjoy your visit!
