After listening to Scott's interview clearly the decision was nothing to do with football or Matt Lench's ability which I think was a given anyway.

Money? could be if you think that we've recently dispensed with 2 players and now Matt Lench and only brought in 1 who wouldn't have been cheap. 

Or could be just the route the club seem to be going down with the younger player profile.

Maybe Scott can confirm but do our players get fully paid if they’re sub or only if you start or play a certain amount of minutes?

Fellas just to clear this up and put it to bed;

As the Club Secretary for Slough Heating Laurencians FC I recently approached both Scott and Ash along with Lenchy, his agent and parents and can confirm he will be signing for us.

He wants to play on the best grass pitch in the area and the fact that we can give him free Polish Vodka and we're just around the corner from Arbour Park swung it for us over other clubs.....😂😂😂

Lenchy was named as a sub by St Albans today and played the second half as St Albans lost 0-1.

Matt Lench came on in the 46th minute and listening to their manager he was their best player by far showing his quality on the ball along with his range of passing. 

There's no doubt he'll be fired up on Tuesday to show us what we're missing.

Why is this thread about a former player drawing more interest than the great result the boys picked up yesterday?!??

Also, reading some of the comments, they read like some are hoping said former player rubs Scotty’s nose in it?!??

All this for a player who scored 3 in 90 with hardly any assists for a supposed creative player, hmmmm…

Your line about assists and creativity are pointless unless you think he wasn't a good player for us.

Goals and assists are very relevant when said player is supposed to be the creative mind in midfield. Yes, Lench WAS a good player for us but move on, he’s gone and rightly so, Leon, Henry and Gilbs are the future

Club legends will always be talked about and when there's no real logic/explanation as to why a decision is made it will give supporters a reason to talk about it even longer.

His ability to move the ball through the 3rd’s, he became a talisman during the takeover and rebuild BUT teams move on and he’s a victim of circumstance, namely the players that have overtaken him in the pecking order. Plus none of us know what goes on behind the scenes so bear that in mind.
