Eynesbury United's match report:

Spartan South Midlands Division 2 Eynesbury United (0) 0 Old Bradwell (1) 3 Attendance 105
Poor finishing and naive defending saw the Bulls unbeaten run go at home to Old Bradwell.
The visitors showed their pedigree as they took their chances when it mattered, whilst the Bulls could not get it right in the final third.
United had the first chance after good work from Baxter who manufactured a chance, but his shot went wide. Brad Brown then set up Callan Irvine but he’s shot was blocked.
With Old Bradwell’s first attack they won a corner which was floated to the far post, Butler met it and hit the post. That should have been a warning for United as two minutes later the very same corner was headed back into the goal area and Hamilton taps it home. United though kept their heads and continued to press. A great run down the left by Baxter saw a great cross into the box but no one could get on the end of it.
The best move of the half saw King play the ball to Brown whose quick pass found Irvine, and his shot was saved by Lahn in the Bradwell goal.
Half time saw the leaders go in one up, and the feeling was United had been the better team but with no end product.
The second half saw an immediate chance for the Bulls which had they scored it could well have been a different game, a great run by McLeod saw him get in behind the defence, he squared the ball across the goal, but despite outstretched legs nobody could turn it home. And that was a defining moment as Old Bradwell stepped up on the gas. Bradwell brought on Dazeley who immediately launched a long throw into the box, unfortunately it flicked off Conor Lee and into the net. You could visibly deflated the young Bulls and it wasn’t long before it was 3-0 when a great ball into the box saw Yebohah turn it past Dylan Martin.
If someone had told Fieldy and Spav that they would lose a game until October 5th, that they would four points behind the leaders and have 13 points more than last season at this point they would have taken that all day long.
Yesterday was not a defining day, but it showed the Bulls that they need to be more clinical. Next weekend they have a tough away day when they travel to current second place team Totternhoe. MOM was Ryan Baxter who worked hard all afternoon with nothing to show for it.
