Interesting reading about the price of a pint. As it stands £5 doesn't seem too bad. My pre match pint at various grounds this season have all been £6 plus, apart from Chatham where I resorted to a bottle of Newcastle Brown (no real ale) £4.50. A pint of Neck Oil, not even real ale, £6.50 at Eastbourne and £6.50 at Tottenham and Rebellion £6 at Maidenhead now.

In fact without real ale on draught I don't much enjoy freezing cold beer, especially bitter. It's down to choice obviously whether to have a pint or not and to drink lager or bitter.

Might do a league table based on price of beer...............!!
