We can blame the refs decisions (until footage is reviewed i shall refrain from comments). But even without those decisions I don’t see us winning that game. I wasn’t there Saturday but by the sounds of it Leiston deserved it both home and away so well done to them. 

My biggest concern is conceding goals from set pieces. I’ve lost count already how many times teams have scored against us from them. We look lost defending them. Jury is still out for me on the formation change too, just looked lost in recent weeks and pockets of space in the middle of the park which was evident this evening. 

A rocket is needed to get the players back on track which I’m sure they’ll be receiving. A few need to have a long hard look at their performances and realise the club isn’t just a stepping stone or place you can just come nd play footie. They need to show some passion/determination. 

Onwards to Saturday which will be another tough game

Similar pattern to the first game except this time Leiston put the pressure on earlier. Those two decisions by the ref and his assistants were poor but I still think we were second best anyway. Oh well back to the league and we move on.

Is it a managerial problem? Any thoughts? I am sometimes puzzled by the quality of players left on the bench .

Completely agree with Luke, the new formation didn’t seem to help us be strong at the back or up front….. we have had a number of new players at the back, either signing or injured/returning and so hopefully soon we get some stability as we had at the start of the season.

George Saunders and Manny played ever so well on a positive note.

Alex alluded to another defensive signing in the programme..

Not good that we couldn't get through in 2 matches against a team a step lower that is not riding high in their league. 

The fantastic support and noise we have will be crucial in the coming months.

Not there for obvious reasons, but surely the one and only focus this season is to stay up? 
 

last time we was in this league we missed out staying up , yes other factors came out, but look how quick we fell.

I’m confident that we are going to stay up. We are better than last time we were here, we have access to better players that Jimmy just didn’t. Would have liked a decent payday against Dagenham but there you go, it wasn’t to be
