Has been dragged up again in the paper this week I see, together with a 'best 11' from the two teams (which incidentally leaves Ian Hodge on the bench?!) But let's not get into that. I just wish they would leave this subject alone, especially as STFC and the STST are looking to the future and we've all stated that we DON'T WANT A MERGER !

Reading forums is cheaper that doing real reporting - anyway there were so many matches off last weekend they had to find something, somewhere to write about.

 

Incidentally, they picked up that Rob Anderson said that the Kennedy Park feasibility study STILL had not started yet and also Sweep picked up that Martin Deaner was not at the Trust Launch, but the Windsor Chairman was....... UH OH - Hence the Merger's on the way talk....!

Im sure more people would go and watch the merged Team in the Ryman league, than a Slough team in the Combined Counties league.

 

I dont particulally want to merge, but with no ground, little finance ect... it might possibly be a half decent thing?

hmmm, wexham park JUNIOR! seriously though this merger is bad and represents everything which is wrong with football clubs becoming businesses first. this is non league, all we need is a home (which we have sitting empty) and we need to get back there. do we really want to support windsor's ambitions anymore than we're doing anything at the moment?

Oddly enough I went along to WP for a bit yesterday. Pitch is still in very good condition and is very much playable with about an hours work to mark it up and trim it (Lionel!). I think with the launch of the trust Martyn now has to really pull his finger out or we could end up starting again in the CC with Slough Town back at WP. Would that be an option?

 

As for the Observer, Mr Chappell really is becoming a bit slack. Takes his reports off the site without crediting, takes ideas from this forum (See the Windsor fans original post about the star XI about a week ago) along with all the gossip, ever thought about coming to a game again Gary?? You came along to the trust, signed up yet?
