John Ufuah departs

Recommended Posts

Disappointing to hear that John Ufuah and latest signing Kareem Isiaka have decided to leave the club.

The reasons stated was to find regular football and that the decision was mutual.

However, Scott has stated that it was a 'tough decision to make' and 'it's never easy to make big calls so early in the season'.

Best of luck to John and Kareem for the future.

Disappointed and surprised, more so with Kareem after barely playing 2 matches. Surely he would have been told before signing he wouldn’t be guaranteed to start/play 90 minutes? You’d think and hope he would have given it a few more matches. Sad to see John leave as he showed a lot of promise but maybe with Abisogun, Ogbonna and Lucan all who can play on the wing, felt his opportunities would be a lot less? I wonder if the new signing is a replacement for either of these 2 or a defender?

I thought Kareem joined us as a medium to long term project to get him back on track and on an upward curve.

As for the new signing, with Lenchy and Slav on their way back and Josh sidelined for a few weeks it's got to be a defender very possibly on a months loan.

Possibly difficult to find a player who isn't cup tied or his club (if on loan) doesn't mind him being cup tied.
