It has come to light that the Daventry Town Reserves v Long Buckby AFC Third Round tie is actually taking place this evening (Friday 29 November) despite Full Time and the Northamptonshire FA website stating that it is tomorrow, very strange:

No difficulties for both Desborough Town and Wellingborough Whitworth last Saturday who progress to the Semi Finals of the competition. Unsurprisingly they will meet at the Victoria Mill Ground with the other Semi Final tie between Blisworth FC and Halse United, both ties take place on Saturday 1 February:

A messege from Wellingborough Whitworth ahead of the eagerly awaited, all SSML, Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup Semi Final tie between Wellingborough Whitworth and Desborough Town, kick off 3.00pm at the Victoria Mill Ground:

Saturday is Les Underwood Junior Cup Semi Final Day down the ground & what a tie we have on offer. Our first team & Desborough Town first team, two of the form teams in the SSMFL, meet to see who will play either Blisworth or Halse United in the Final. The game is a 3.00pm ko & competition rules mean it is all pay so season tickets are not valid. We look forward to seeing you down the ground on Saturday getting behind the lads in their battle to get to the final.

The Final of the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup will be between Desborough Town and Blisworth FC who were both successful in their Semi Final ties last Saturday. Desborough Town beat fellow SSML Division One Wellingborough Whitworth 1-0 at the Victoria Mill Ground with a goal on the hour mark from William Russell, the hosts huffed and puffed and made five substitutions however the experienced and resolute Desborough Town defence held firm.
