Another MK derby for Stony Stratford Town, this time venturing over the other side of the V6 grid road from their recent trip to Old Bradwell. A pleasant sunny afternoon in the back streets of Bradville in the shadow of the windmill, but tough going on the pitch against a physically strong, well-organised Peters side. Three goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half decided things - Stony did have their half chances subsequently but were very poor in front of goal.

Spartan South Midlands League. Division Two
This was a revisit for myself but Lee West who was driving today hadn't been and its no hardship revisiting the King George V Fields. No changes from my previous visit a few years ago. A nice verandah style cover on one side which gives a decent view of the action. Railed off on both sides and behind the far goal. The other goal at the car park end of the ground has a hedge behind it to give an enclosed feel to the ground.
The game was most enjoyable with Caddington taking an early lead but by early in the second half they found themselves trailing 3-1. The game changed again when a Sarratt got himself sent off for two yellow cards and Caddington pulled the two goals back to level the score before taking the lead. Despite having a man advantage they couldn't hold on and Sarratt soon levelled the score before getting the winner in injury time.
Excellent entertainment for the 49 present including Spitfire Dave plus dog!
