Ok, so not an easy fixture first up, but then I fancy trips to the likes of Maidstone, Dorking, Worthing...etc will be just as tough. Add to that the fact that Gavin says we're a couple of weeks away from where he'd like us to be, and we go into this game with more trepidation than expectation.

Ever the pessimist, but I'll be delighted if we lose by 2 or less.

Anyone alot more positive?

If we don’t get overrun early doors we might get a point or even more you never know, could be the right time to play them, they’ve got a complete new squad apart from one or two, so hopefully there not too hot, I’ve looked on there forum where you predict the scores and quite a few of them are going 5-0,4-1 to them etc. It’s going to be a huge crowd just hope we play well and have a go!

Im sure I read an article where their budget was 900k last year and cut to £400k this year? Seems high for this level

Good time to play Torquay as they like us have a new team I would have been a little more confident with Marcus in our lineup as a goal threat unfortunately he’s not there so I would expect a 3-0 reverse, really hope I’m wrong, our season is not going to be defined by this one game though
