Welcome to the new season

Under no illusion this is not going to be a walk in the park like last season,some guy on the internet has predicted we will finish 19th but he said he was going on pre season matches,being realistic if we finished mid table I would be happy anything higher which I'm sure we'll be aiming for I would be ecstatic some cracking away day alas I have to forfeit this Saturday,bring it on,  up the Urchins

Can’t wait for the season to start, our new signings look good as does the squad…. Add in Tommie Hoban and the Trialist’s (if they sign) and hopefully stay clear of major injuries I think we could have a great season… Pre season has been tough, but performances have generally been good (missed Billericay away) and majority against much higher standard… be good to see how we compare to teams in our own league. Top half of the table would be an excellent season.

My heart says playoffs my head says surviving comfortably.

We are much better equiped to deal with this league when we were last time we were here but we also have to accept there's some big teams in this league whose resources we couldn't possibly hope to match. Not paying too much attention to the friendlies the only concerning one would have been Billericay but playing against higher opposition would have prepared us well for the challenge ahead. Looking forward to it

Well done for getting back into this league, and to the ground improvements etc.. If we stay in this league for another season without a relegation battle I would be more than happy.

I'm really looking forward to this season. Finally we are back in the "conference" south after many years in the isthmian. No pressure on promotion and hopefully we can enjoy many consecutive seasons in the national league setup, establishing ourselves there as regulars.

I can't make tomorrow, so watching via updates. A difficult pre season IMO, nothing to shout about as we had to many missing and never really got the opportunity to blend. August is a good month for us, so hopefully we can do well and get some points on the board. Mid table/playoffs would be a success.
