Another disappointing postponement this afternoon, it sounds very much like the inspecting Official was a 'jobsworth' as surely standing water would have been swept off the pitch and sand laid prior to the inspection:

Codicote FC - Unfortunately our Cup Quarter Final v Tring Corinthians AFC has been called OFF after Official Pitch Inspection. In the last two days rain has left standing water.
