For your information he is Michael Olarewaju ex Eastbourne and Dover FC. Very impressed with his performance and had Braintree number nine in his pocket.

Biography

The imposing central defender joined Eastbourne from Dover Athletic in September 2023.

Michael is a big, physical player who can also sit in holding midfield. He had spent the beginning of last season with Cheshunt in the National League South, before he joined Wingate & Finchley – scoring twice in five appearances. He then joined Dover Athletic in the summer, before making the switch to the East Sussex coast.

Going to have to say that’s some of the best passing and movement I’ve seen from Hornchurch for a very long time. Cracking game should have been more goals to be honest but a draw is a fair result. More of this please, that was really exciting
