How is it that eaton manor will now not have played a game for three weeks ? seems an unfair advantage to other teams especially as the remaining manor fixtures are mostly against teams challenging for the title ....are the fixtures done to suit these teams ? <img src="/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

The Manor are not the only team to suffer with this.

Ilford have played one League game since 13th December and that was against ETFC on 10th January !

So in effect before Wednesday nights game against Concord in the GBMT we have played one game in 8 weeks.

have you played any games or just one game in 8 weeks and were any due to your pitch ...the manor actually havent ad a fixture to cancel .i hear now monday nights game against barkinside ihas been cancelled in favour of them playing in a cup game on tuesday is this right <img src="/images/graemlins/rasta.gif" alt="" />

ETFC have TOO MANY games, scheduled 6 games in 2 weeks! from 31-01 to 14-02!

 

thankfully the weather is helping to space them out!

Well the first team took a couple of reserve fixtures in that period but I understand what you are saying although there are other teams in the same situation.

foxy what i am saying is i think cancelling a league game for the gbmt is wrong it means that the manor go into the ilford game without playing a single game for a month ....who sorts out the fixtures for the league maybe the chairman can answer that <img src="/images/graemlins/dancingman.gif" alt="" />

There are all sorts of issues with the fixtures. We now have three home games in four weeks in Feb then only one more for the rest of the season.

 

This makes the balance sheet go all over the place

Manor did not cancel any games and its Barkingside playing tuesday so Manor will play Ilford next saturday without playing for 3 weeks and you think thats an advantage GET REAL Every team need to play on a regular basis but some pitches hold up to the weather some dont.Manor currently sharing at Burnham are now finding this a disadvantage for having a decent pitch.The fixture sec should sort it out why did Manor play a tuesday night league game at HOME to Southend Manor with all these free saturdays

ESL cud not organise the fixture list, now we all know that; it has been discussed until it is boring.

So fresh challenge for them:
a few drinkies in a brewery; no cudn't organise that either;

conclusion ESL= Sunday League, played Saturday.

I think that's great idea. I've a CD in my car with all the celtic crowd with Gerry Marsden, recorded agaist Blackburn at Celtic Park last season. It always brings a tear to my eye. I'll bring it tomorrow
