Odd that he had his squad number confirmed and just days before the first game decides to leave? Yes he’ll be a guaranteed starter at Bracknell but he probably would have started Saturday and it would have been his place to lose. Just seems weird timing and maybe he had Scott was after another LB and didn’t fancy the challenge and has taken the easy choice?

We had a 7 dayer for Gabe and he chose to go. Wasn’t pushed and could’ve stayed. Personally I didn’t see Gabe starting 35-40 matches this season like he will do at Bracknell and he wants to play, so…

Also, he wouldn’t have started Saturday so it doesn’t scupper any plans.

I actually thought he might play for Virginia Water on dual reg this season so not a surprise to see him go somewhere to play as no point sitting about if Horlock is going to start as number 1.
