Early bird tickets 2024/5

The point is most, if not all of our die hard loyal supporters who normally buy an early bird season ticket will still buy one.

The 'floating supporters' who are probably in the majority of our 800/1,000 attendees will very likely need something extra to entice them to buy before the 31st May deadline.

As we speak there's been no good news on new signings and we still have the distinct possibility of losing two of our best players.

I'm sure there's a lot of hard work going on in the background but trying to convince the floating supporter to buy a ticket by the end of May will take something more tangible and exciting to get them to part with their money.

That's why I said if the discounted ticket sales are lower than the club expects the deadline might be extended to give Scott and the club more time.

Well for the floating fans there is no early bird discounts available on the standard season ticket if they did not have a season ticket last year, so they have to cough the full £282.50, so they will want to see that there is a decent team in place before handing over there hard earned.

Not really sure what you mean SR.

As far as I know anyone can buy an early bird season ticket.

You do not need to have been a member last season to purchase the adult membership at £225. That price is available to everyone. The £282.50 you have quoted is the maximum available for that category and includes a seat (£50) and printed card (£7.50).

Weymouth have just announced their season ticket prices.

They are not offering any 'early bird' deals with prices at £18 adult and £14 concessions.

With only Torquay to announce their ticket prices Weymouth's are the most expensive in the league.

Looks like basic season ticket price has increased to £250, now the "early bird" offer (£225) has expired.

I think some will have expected an extension to the early bird offer, given:

(i) the shortage of positive news regarding new signings, and

(ii) the lack of clarity over what the price was going to be after the expiry of the advertised "early bird" offer.

I know some prior members who will now choose to attend on a match-by-match basis, and hope the club continues with offers/incentives seen last season, to make supporting the club more affordable.

Theirs always the possibility that sales have been great and no need to extend the deadline.

I cannot see any lack of clarity, it was always only for a period of time and then reverting to normal prices.

Of course there's always the possibility of a 'flash sale' sometime later on.
