Very much like the 2 play off finals with excellent crowd and underperformed on the pitch

To be honest, it is difficult to see where the next goal will come from.

Liam Nash seems off colour and the two guys on loan ran around like headless chickens.

Also, there could be a problem in raising a full complement of players and subs with George Saunders and Sean Scammell going off.

Ollie Muldoon will be suspended for three matches although he can probably play on Monday.

They just wanted it more. They needed that win for the play off places. They won every ball. We didn’t get out of the blocks and just didn’t play well. Is what it is bring on Monday

Yes we were poor today but this is just a temporary delay to proceedings. Forward area looking weak due to injuries. Still expect us to get over the finishing line soon. COYU

This was never a must win game for the title, they have done all the hard work over the previous six months. Injuries have definitely caught up with us, along with three games in a week on heavy pitches have taken it's toll. It was going to be difficult with three young loan players on the pitch and I would not be surprised if there were not a few others who would have come off if possible.

Agreed it’s not a must not win game but at the same time it’s another game in front of a big crowd where we have failed to win like the play off final games. Wingate fully deserved the win, better in every department. The players have been brilliant this season but I don’t want them to go into it with the mentality that they have won the league. Us as fans is different, the players know you have to earn them 3 points, on to Canvey. Up the chins!

It felt like losing another play off final.

With Cray’s 95th minute equaliser on Friday we had the opportunity to win the league in March.

i was desperate for that to happen because our players deserved no less this season.

So for the 3rd year in a row we have not had the perfect end to the season.

Despite this setback we will still be Isthmian League Premier Division champions for the first time in our history.

At some point whether it is tomorrow, Saurday or even if it is the last game of the season, unlike the previous two years we will have something to celebrate.

Felt like it was just 1 game too many, no lack of effort, just up against a good team who had the perfect start. Unlike the playoffs, seasons are defined over 42 games and the lads have been exceptional. It won’t be long before we can celebrate a wonderful season….

A (very) bad day at the office. The early goal just killed the mood and we never recovered. 

The team, to a man, looked exhausted.

Another couple of injuries to add as well which is concerning. Seems to be par for the course this season.

A needless challenge from Ollie Muldoon will ensure that we remain light on numbers also.

Disappointing performance but they have the chance to put it right tomorrow.
