Although not in attendance today I was watching things unfold in my local British Legion,as said before good sides always find a way to win,up the Urchins

Very much a smash and grab. Probably did enough 2nd half to deserve a draw. I thought it was a harsh red but credit where it is due. Often difficult to break down 10 men hanging on so to get 2 goals in 6 minutes was a good achievement.

Plan A wasn't working, plan B neither but luckily, we had a plan C so well played to the management. 

George Saunders added another dimension when he came on and made a big difference so hopefully he takes confidence from that.

Decent side - they overloaded our left and compressed the play (occasionally going the other side). Decent passing as well. Made it difficult for us. I can see why they were unbeaten at home. Was it a Red? Ref thought so. This team never knows when it’s beaten , to grab three points is amazing . Still too early to claim the title, still a lot of work to do but when you get results like this then you’ve got to start thinking that maybe it’s your season. Big shout out to the home fans and to the officials , all top drawer. One step closer COYU

conflicting commitments made my journey impossible to get there on time. I happened to come across the rocks radio commentary in the second half, best entertainment in years! 

To say the commentary was unbiased and annoyed at the end is an understatement. 

 

Great result, another step forward. Well done team!

 

[Up the chins]

It’s all about results at this stage of the season, performances go out of the window. I won’t claim the title either, still work to be done but for us to lose it now will take a big collapse. Results like yesterday and Dulwich away feel huge.
