Christmas come early!

Well, we all know how it feels, no football for weeks, then an away fixture against our nearest rivals. The Hornchurch choir were in full voice and the three wise men were also probably held up in the festive scramble to get south of the river!

So with expectations running high, it is like Christmas morning with your siblings as a child, you open the box and its not what you had hoped for and your siblings get what they want!

So a quiet drive home with not a lot to show, but wait I hear " top of the league, five points clear with three games in hand" Oh well!

Perceived wisdom is that 40 points is enough to avoid relegation and we have already got 45 points so that's another reason to be cheerful. I'll see if I can think of another to get Ian Drury's "Reasons to be cheerful part 3"
