Certainly got the pedigree but his injury record must be a concern.

Hopefully he can avoid injuries and we can see the best of him.

Glen, I saw your question on Twitter.. don’t really want to air too much on there! 
There is room for one more, most likely when Mickel goes, but we won’t rush into that unless it’s the right person, hence why we haven’t brought two in as of now.

We’ll utilise Micks between now and then and will see what January brings!

It’ll bring a load of games and travelling!!! Yes understand you need to bring in the right attitude aswell as skill.

Our scouts have obviously seen something not showing in the stats or seen by Hungerford (a level below us)-

This season 14 appearances, 5 starts (subbed off 4 times) & 9 sub appearances…… no goals & 1 assist.

A player for now or one to be developed for the future?

Probably cheap as the owners seem to be limiting Scotts spending.

Well as I said, they will be measured by their actions.

Is this just a figure of speech, or do we actually employ scouts? Presumably scouts don't come cheap?

I’m sure Scott can explain his decision but yeah bit of an odd one purely looking at his stats. But if he has a blinder tomorrow we’ll all be singing his praises!

I don’t think we employ any scouts, but I get the impression Scott has lots of connections that seem to provide him with updates & reports on players.

We’ve got one or two active scouts but most of the time it’s from us going out and watching games.

Slavi has all the credentials to be a very good player but hasn’t reached his potential because of injury. I’m a huge believer that environment is everything for a young player to flourish and feel as though ours will be perfect for Slavi.

Similar to Leon, Leon was sat on the bench at Step 4 last season but having played with him a couple of years ago at Biggleswade I felt as though there’s a player in there and think he’s proved that to be the case! 
 

I was told Tyrese wasn’t good enough at Gosport last season as well, and I think he’s done brilliantly! 
 

So we’ll see, they won’t all work out, that’s football! But I like the idea of trying to rebuild young players who have potential!

Agree bit of an odd one but someone must have seen something  14 appearences for Hungerford  0 goals but if he scores tomorrow we will all be  talking about an inspired signing!

If the striker we were after was Chesham top scorer Ricardo German we can forget about it.

After a lot of interest from 'the league above' he has committed himself to Chesham for the season.
