A groundhopper from another Forum was at Vauxhall Road:

150 Fri 17/5 West Herts FA St Marys Cup (Final) Harpeden Town 3 1 Leverstock Green 350 At Hemel Hempstead Town

Goals: Harpenden Town (67, 71 & 85 mins) Leverstock Green (16 pen)
Ground: Hemel Hempstead Town FC, Vauxhall Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4HW, land of multi-damaged seats - Pitch: 3G
Weather: warm and sunny today, 21 C, fine evening, no rain, 16-17 C
Travel: Miles 32
This was a re-run of the recent play-off game, which Leverstock Green won convincingly. I wondered if the 16th minute penalty would be the only goal? LG missed plenty, then out of the blue (orange actually) Harps scored an equalising goal. Only moments before LG missed the easiest of chances, their forward electing to go down like a sack of potatoes, instead of converting the easiest of chances. Harps scored again with a left-footed rocket, which absolutely flew into the net. Leverstock Green hit the post, Harps ran the rebound straight up the other end for their third goal in 18 minutes and Jake Anthony’s hat-trick.

The attractive looking match programme from the West Hertfordshire St Mary's Cup last week, was £10 admission not a little on the pricey side:
