Well done lads the result doesn't matter,great experience and 340 people showed their appreciation,up the Urchins

They were playing a near full strength Hashtag side and for periods of the game held their own. Would have loved to have seen them get a goal and they had a couple of chances but it was not to be. Heros to a man and kept going until the final whistle. Well done to everyone in that team and their staff, they should all be proud of themselves.

I agree with all the above. Didn't drop their heads and still trying to get forwards right until the end. Fearless as well with strong challenges and tricky footwork. I was told most were only 16 years old which makes their efforts even more admirable

No it was discounted quite a bit. U16s I believe were free

If you had read the website you would have seen admission was £5.00 and £3.00 and those that were there got good value for their money

A couple of questions I was disappointed to hear Max announce a problem with racist language . In my 30 years of supporting the urchins I’ve never heard that before. Also who is injured? I was hoping that perhaps a few injured players may have made an appearance to give them some playing time.

I can confirm that there was no racist comments at all from the Eastside last evening, in fact the 19 years I’ve been supporting the club I can’t remember a single incident of racism on that side. We’ve always had a multi ethnic playing staff anyway so it wouldn’t make any sense.  Think it must have been those kids on the riverside that I’ve never seen before if there is any validity to it.
