FA Trophy 3rd Round Draw

Remember another great comeback back in the day when we overturned two goals to win 3-2, one of them scored by John Mousinho, a mere Brentford loanee then and now Portsmouth manager. How time flies.

The ground was a lot more quaint with the old wooden seats from seemingly pre-war days stacked half way up the terrace behind the goal before they modernised with a new stand.

Only been once - in May 1990 - quite enjoyed that one!

Yes it was quite a day, we took hundreds that day and as far as I’m aware that old end terrace is still there today.

Yes it’s a terrible draw especially as there are no replays. We’ll have to do it the hard way again if we want another cup/trophy run.

Couldn't have had a much harder draw.

Bromley flying in the NL currently 3rd in the table

Won the Trophy in 2021/2022 beating Wrexham 1-0.

Highest attendance this season 3,338 against Southend Lowest 1,733 against Eastleigh.

Depending on pricing of course but I’d be surprised if it beat their lowest league crowd.

George and Dom didn’t play in the last round, George was a big part in us staying up last season along with Temi.  Both loan players. We only have 2 loan players so not sure what your issue is with them.

So far this season we have had the two you mention, plus the two keepers.

Also the new keeper has his cricket which may impact the end of the season - so maybe another keeper.

Seeing as our defence has had issues, changing the keepers so often must of had an impact.

Glen I thought the title winning game was played at a neutral venue have looked everywhere on Google to find out not even on our website does it say or was it another team late in that season.

Just when you need Alan Smith on this Site 🤣

I've been digging to find out more about the NCCA Championship (which apparently Berkshire CCC play in), which is easier said than done as the NCCA website is awful and Berkshire CCC don't yet have one. But from looking at other teams sites, from what I can gather the 3-day season starts in July and ends in September, and they only play a maximum of 5 or 6 games anyway. The T20 season is played in April/May, and the One-Day season in June, so if it does overlap into our season it should only be at the tail end at worst, but we should look out for the start of next season.

The Berkshire season might not start until June but his club cricket for Finchampstead starts in April

Pretty certain he played for Wargrave last season.

Not sure about next season but obviously whichever club he plays for they should start at the same time.

Most importantly, will he be around for when we are in the playoff games assuming we are unlucky not to win the league outright?

It's called positivity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
