Just to let you  know, Slough Town fan Ian Matthews (Leeds Ian) collapsed just before half time at Welling today.

He was attended to by the medics during the second half, so we hope he is OK.

And well done to that West Country idiot stood down the side next to Reading Rebel, who was slagging the ref off

for blowing 30 seconds early to end the first half so that Ian could get help. You are not wanted by our

club you moron.

Erm, I was next to Reading Rebel at the side and it wasn't apparent to anybody there what was going on behind the goal, although it was very quickly after the ref had blown. The "West Country Idiot" was no better informed than any of us there, so your comment is inappropriate and presupposes that the club would agree with it. That particular individual is a long standing supporter of our club....... and enemy of officials btw. 

I'm happy that Ian is OK and hopefully any diagnosis is not serious and well done to both Slough and Welling medics.

This so called long standing supporter constantly abuses refs and linesmen most Saturdays, so you think that is acceptable do you?

BTW I am a long term supporter of the club, but not a loud mouthed idiot like Eddie H.

FWIW - I thought the ref did exactly the right thing. Bring the players off, let half time happen and let the supporter get the help he needed. No downside IMO.

Maybe you can as you appear to know who he is. I don't condone abusing officials, players or fellow supporters, but that's just me, not everyone's the same.

Main thing from this is that Ian is OK, no further comment.

Agreed, the main thing is that Ian is OK. Suffice to say I have had an email from the club

stating that they have had various complaints about Eddie The Idiot  not only on Saturday

but at Farnborough also. They have stated that they will take action on these complaints

(not just complaints from myself I might add).  Hopefully he will get a ban for a time

to reflect on his actions.
