Apoogies, it did seem a bit strange that St Panteleimon and Bedfont Sports were meeting just a week after St Panteleimon disposed of Wembley in the First Round of the Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup, that is the game that is postponed this evening and St Panteleimon v Sawbridgeworth Town goes ahead tomorrow:

2nd v 11th at start of play, the hosts were always just that little bit too strong for the visitors who battled hard but only created a couple of clear cut chances, both of which were saved by the home keeper. Both goals came in the first half - number 10, Allen, opening the scoring, and number 8 Cirelli adding the second.
A very neat and tidy, modern looking, ground, with a big car park, spacious clubhouse and decent main stand. One slightly odd thing is having to leave a £1 deposit at the bar for a (plastic) glass, even if you're not going outside. Not sure if this is the same for regulars, or only for those they don't recognise.
The official attendance seems a little low (my own headcount was 79, including a smattering of hoppers).
