I don't want to laugh at Grays, don't know the circumstances there and Stimmo will always have respect from me for delivering the biggest trophy in non-league football. It does however look like the right decision was made by releasing him and bringing Moro in bearing in mind their league position.

I should think that he suffered from a very modest budget compared to Hornchurch.

Mind you, Thurrock were relegated from the Premier Division in his first season there and it took him five years to get them back on what was probably quite a reasonable Tommy South provided budget.

Seems that we were three weeks early, but the writing was on the wall. As we all know this is a results business, Grays were probably expecting a bounce from the meshia returning home, but as we all know, never go back!
