And the website now reminds that today is the anniversary of the club's first FA Cup victory over a Football League team, the aftermath of which made Saturday's events look like the proverbial vicarage tea party.

KBH

Please be aware that the clubs website shows a selection of different games played on todays date.

With a few clicks today it showed Macclesfield, Levesden, Eastbourne and Dagenham.......

One of the clips on Twitter has 1.6m views!! 1.6m people who have watched our club portrayed in a negative light. We were not at fault but you can see from the idiots commenting that they don’t care about that. I will never understand why someone’s first thought is to pull their phone out and film these things, and then post it on social media. I was there and it didn’t cross my mind to get my phone out. It’s not good for us.

I think we also need to be careful what we wish for. I’m fuming about what happened. I’d love to see these idiots get the hiding they deserve, but Farnborough are back in 4 weeks. Fat drummer boy and his mates will not show, but their decent supporters will. If we aren’t careful, we could get our own element, who’ve barely been to a game in years, turning up looking to “defend” the club. We have to get back to focussing on what makes Slough a great club and discourage any talk of revenge.

Agreed. There is already some idiot on their forum offering a "welcome." We need to rise above however we might feel.

Farnborough fan here.

I'd rather focus on the on-pitch performance rather than the nonsense after the game, as these 'people' claiming to 'fans' don't deserve the time of day in my opinion.

Firstly, congratulations on getting through. The cup tournaments are all about getting to the next round and you've done just that. Best of luck in what will be a tough game at Bromley.

As our manager said, you wanted it more. We are still struggling on the road this season and are yet to win away from home. Our manager has said there will be changes, and there needs to be. It can't go on, simple as that.

Kuhl has been fantastic for us in midfield since he came in loan. Every time I've watched I feel he's a MOTM contender, but unfortunately the attitude doesn't appear to be there for everyone.

Good luck to you all in the next round.

P.S. As I was typing this, Farnborough released the below statement...

"Following the unsavoury incident at the conclusion of our FA Trophy match with Slough Town on Saturday, we have informed several young fans that they will be refused entry to Farnborough FC matches whilst we continue to work with Slough to investigate and review CCTV.

Whilst we appreciate both sets of fans were involved, we cannot have fans inciting and being involved in trouble.

We will be considering the options available to us once the investigation is complete and we have consulted with the authorities. Any further action, if needed, will be communicated in due course."

Glad it's been acted on so quickly and good riddance to the young "fans".

Good to see your club have banned the so called 'fans' pending the inquiry.

Thanks for your post, much appreciated.

Bit of a blame game started on their social media Asking where these lifeforms got the alcohol from Did our  stewards gatestaff let them in with it? Why could they drink it in parts of the ground where its not allowed? and of course did we sell to obviously underage people  !!

We must refute these slurs asap

Nor have I at the moment. Hopefully it stays that way.

Genuinely not being stupid here, but I've had a word with a few 'lads' as I call them that I know have no issue looking for bother and follow London clubs but are Slough boys, told them in no uncertain terms to leave it and stay away.

They'll listen, there's a mutual respect there from days gone bye and they'll pass that on to others I know so hopefully all will be fine.

Who knows if there was alcohol involved?

If it was it doesn't take a genius to know that an adult can but it for a younger person.

What has drinking in parts of the ground got to do with the trouble that occurred?

Definitely not but I wasn't exactly an angel following United around back in the day so I know a few of them from a previous life before I had the horses head left in the bed. 😂
