If we were still in the FA Cup I would be all for not taking the FA Trophy seriously, but without the distraction of that I would like to see us win this one & see who we get next.

It’s not unknown for a club at our level to go all the way to Wembley….. & the 1973 Wembley appearance was the best day in the clubs history.

It's a double edged sword really.

I think most supporters will want us to beat Farnborough and have a run in the trophy but we have injuries to key players and Tuesday's game and getting the 3 points is more important.

So do we play players who are not 100% and risk further injury or do we rest them for Tuesday?

You could Win the FA Trohpy, but end up getting relegated.

Excellent result after the disappointment of our last 2 matches especially with a depleted squad. Sounds like Dan Lincoln had a very good debut plus it was great to see Minhas score which I’m sure will be a weight of his shoulders. So £3,750 banked and we can look forward to the 3rd round draw and maybe another cup adventure?

Great performance defence was solid Dandy for his first game back was outstanding The whole team wanted it more If it wasn't for Jack Turner it could have been more comfortable Keep it going for Tuesday

I wasn’t there, so what happened exactly and why?

Teenage idiots decided to approach the Slough players as they were thanking the fans at the end and abuse them. They got a reaction and ran away. I’ve just seen them at Reading station, still strutting like they’re all Billy big spuds singing “farnborough are massive”.
Absolute cretins

Thanks, seen some fans video footage and it’s look bad. Looks mostly like kids thinking they’re hard men but they’d just ran away if confronted by proper men. Hope they all get identified and banned.

I overheard the main idiot, who looked terrified when pinned against the wall at the time, telling a couple of Farnborough fans at Reading station his version of events. Made himself sound like Cass Penant… had to bite my tongue.

If you watch the video he is 100% a culprit. Puts someone on their back with a punch.

Yep, he blindsided me with that punch!!

Get me in a charity boxing match with him 😂

Statement from Farnborough. Well done for acting promptly and the punishment to be handed out.

“Following unacceptable behaviour by a small minority of supporters after the final whistle at our game against Slough Town today, we have CCTV footage and once reviewed, those supporters involved will be banned from attending all future home games.

Farnborough Football Club do not wish to be associated with such behaviour.”

Hope you’re alright bud. He should be easily identified, especially if he’s usually carrying a drum. Probably a police matter. I’d happily pay to watch you cave his head in. For charity of course

All good thank you mate, just a bit of whiplash. Thing is, I pushed forward because one of them laid hands on my 72 year old Dad and then he hit me completely unprovoked and from the side.

I’d happily have a charity boxing match 😂 He wouldn’t be able to run then 😂

I thought that all of the players worked hard as a team for the result today and the win was thoroughally deserved. Especially pleased for Nathan to get the goal that his efforts and perseverance deserved.

Well done to Scotty and the rest of the management team, we can only guess at the amount of time and hard work that goes on behind the scenes during the week before each game, results such as these today must make all of the effort worthwhile.

I thought that the ref had a reasonable game today, sometimes we complain about the amount of yellow cards dished out unnecessarily which can spoil a game, however today it appeared that he was doing his best not to book players. There could have been two or three yellows in the first half alone. All of the second half cards were fully justified.

I did not see any trouble with the away fans after the game today, it will be interesting to see what other fans saw after the final whistle.

Looking forward to the game on Tuesday evening, a game which we need to win.
