Away Allocation

Hi Grimsby Fan,

No idea, I’m sure when we know exactly when the match is, and whether it is moved for TV, the Club will be in touch.

I think because of our average home attendances of 800 we only have an official capacity of 2,000 (which we filled for past FA Cup matches with Rochdale & Gillingham), but our Club might be able to increase that if you were bringing a big following down.

Hi Slough Fans,

Looking forward to visiting a new stadium.  Whatever our allocation is we will 100% sell out. However, what will our allocation be?

Regards

Grimsby Fan.

Hi Grimsby Fan,

Our ground capacity is currently set at 3,000.

It's possible for safety reasons the maximum attendance could be set lower than this at around the 2,000 mark.

The allocation given to Grimsby will more than likely be decided between the two clubs.

Plucking a figure out of the sky do you think you could easily sell an allocation of say 500 tickets?

Just seen your post Curtis.

I'm sure I read that our stadium capacity was changed to 3,000 a while back.

We will sell the full allocation given, we take 1000-3000 every away game. The demand for away tickets is huge and we have alot of london based Mariners.  If given 500, they would sell out in 2 hours of sale.

The below is an extract regarding the Gillingham FA Cup match.

The ground will be able to accommodate approximately 2,800 spectators, but in order for this to happen we will need to implement new methods of segregation, after consultations with various parties and receipt of safety advice and guidance from experts.
• Therefore, for this match Arbour Park will be segregated and ticketed into four distinct areas (North, South, East, West) each with toilets and concessions. Once in a segregated area, you will not be able to move into another area of the ground.”

I did hear that we've got a licence now for 3,000 but not sure if that's correct or not?

Anybody know?
