Will be the first game since i have been a supporter (21 years) where I won't be in attendance at an FA cup proper round match. This is the 12th one

Come on then, name the 11 you’ve been to.

I’ve only been going to matches regularly for 10 or 11 years, but think I have seen the last seven.

And who thinks they hold the record for the most consecutive FA Cup Proper Round matches attended?

My first one (as far as I can remember) was v Millwall in 1982, and have been to every one since. (May

have also attended Fa Cup games at the Dolphin prior to this, but cant remember.

Is there a chance the club could arrange a live ‘beam back’ or live stream via their YouTube channel or similar? I can’t make the replay and I’m sure many others can’t either. But i’d happily pay upto £15 to watch it at home or even at the club. With 1,700 Slough fans attending the first match could this be an option?

No surprises with the 2 live tv replays, just frustrating they’d pick the same team twice seems very unfair.

Oh, so ITV have chosen Horsham v Barnsley…… I suppose Cray Valley & Horsham deserve the coverage after excellent & very surprising away draws.

I would think "Bonjour" is a very short odds contender for that title.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only Proper Round matches he hasn't seen were the two matches in 1945 against Bromley.

It’s not a case of the club arranging it, it’s not permitted under the FA Cup’s Commercial Regulations.

Anybody want to buy a programme from the match on Sunday ?

There's one available to buy on ebay.

As I write this post it is available for the bargain price of 18 pounds and sixty pence !

Plus 2 pound 40p postage.

Bidding doesn't end until Monday, but I'll be keeping an eye on this one to see how high the price goes.

I was curious to see how many tickets we'd bought for next Tuesday night and looking at the seat plans for the two away sections it seems over 60 have been sold already.

Decent enough numbers going I reckon given its a sunny, warm, Tuesday night by the North Sea in the 1978 'Its a Knockout Winners, Cleethorpes'   To be fair it might not have been '78 but I was a kid.

😂

Morning all

If anyone wants/needs an 18-22 Year Old ticket for tomorrow night I have one free of charge.

My lad Jamie ended up having an op on his lower back over the weekend so can no longer attend.

Be a shame to waste it.

I don't know if any of you are looking at Grimsby's fan forum page, but for those of you that aren't it's quite amazing what a difference one win has made to their outlook.

From mostly fear and trepidation for our first match, their score prediction page for tomorrow's match is mostly extremely optimistic.

There are one or two who suggest it will be a close game, (one bloke thinks it will go to penalties ) , but the vast majority are going for an easy victory, with most scores ranging from    4-0 to 7-0.

The most popular score seems to be 5-1.

Just reading up about the away end at Grimsby.

There seems to be a bar available there selling hot and cold food and drinks just for the use of away fans.

It's called "Scotties" !

Very apt.

Got to have Fish and Chips surely....
