Cruel result for Town who deserved a draw. I think Chesham had five chances and scored four. The new young forward who subbed at half time looks an exciting prospect.

Sykes worked hard, but looked a bit leggy - needs to get a bit sharper.

Birch was working

Defence was generally solid , but one of two lapses in concentration cost us.

Most importantly, it was a wonderfully entertaining game that we lost by a squeak

Gavin will no doubt be addressing the defensive issues, so I wouldn't change too much. I would like to see Onyeagwara involved at some point - he's rapid, skilful and exciting - and Cray will know nothing about him!

Not too worried about the result. We played reasonably well and the new players seemed to look the part. I really think that Chesham deserved the win but I wouldn't like to see them every week. We saw in the warm up what their game plan was and a regular attender would get neck ache.
