So both FA competitions are treated as one? I always thought they were separate so if you got a red card in the cup it wouldn’t effect the trophy.

Hope you’re wrong as I think the vast majority who were there yesterday would agree he was our MotM.

Possession wise yes they had around that percentage. I’m hoping Rohan is in training every day until the match practicing his weaknesses.

Rohan is employed full time with a Championship club so must train with them most days of the week, I would think coaching and working on his weaknesses would be done on a daily basis.

Mixed emotions on this one, what looked like 2 errors from Rohan had cost us the win (will need to see replays if there are any to be 100%) but what a battling performance from the lads to get a draw and I’d certainly would have taken that before KO. For me Tyrese was MotM, an excellent performance. Great to be in the 1st round draw tomorrow hoping to get Reading or Wycombe at home. What a massive incentive that would be to win the replay (not that we should need any incentives!). Shame the England v Italy match is also on Tuesday as that will severely decrease the attendance.

Highlights now on Ebbsfleet YouTube. Hard to see if Rohan was fouled as he feels he was for their second goal.

Performance and support yesterday were great. Hope we can repeat it at home.

Hate to be harsh on Rohan as he appears a nice lad and is a good keeper. It’s just there are some obvious flaws to his game which unfortunately show up more being a goalkeeper. I just hope his confidence isn’t too shaken by the 2 he let in as it looks like Ebbsfleet will rightly so do their upmost to do the same or more again. Be interesting how we’ll approach the replay, as we can’t allow them so much possession again. Hopefully our management have a trick or two up their sleeves.

I may be wrong but wasn't Billy Clifford not in their squad yesterday because he got a red card in a recent game? Couldn't have been fa cup as that was their first game in it. I thought they did this card thing in the fa cup but not sure it's still going.

Clifford was a late substitute against Eastleigh on 3rd October and got a straight red card.

I take it Ebsfleet are a full time team if so that is a big advantage makes them alot fitter the pitch was very wide and they were stringing passes to use the complete pitch and I am not surprised the Slough players are shattered.

if only one of the other chances had gone in minutes are scoring the first as we had them on the ropes.

George worked his socks up front on his own the whole team deserve credit.

on the reports by there manager and players on Rohan, Scott should put that up in the dressing room before the replay as a big incentive to stick it up them.

Given that those 2 goals were the first 2 he has let in during this years FA Cup and by all accounts, we wouldn't be here at all if he hadn't had a worldy verses Sailsbury, I suspect Rohan should still be brimming with confidence and rightly so.

It's a nailed on certainty that Ebbsfleet will target Rohan's perceived weaknesses tomorrow night so we shall soon see how confident he is when put under enormous pressure again.

You’re right about his display v Salisbury away but I doubt many keepers would be ‘brimming with confidence’ after letting in/scoring? 2 own goals. Plus there was another near post incident he fumbled. But I really hope between Saturday and tomorrow night he’s been practicing big time these errors plus his kicking and has a blinder tomorrow night.

Have to admit I've obviously got a soft spot for keepers and their trials and tribulations having two teenage keepers myself but at the same time you have to remove the rose tinted glasses and be honest and realistic which my two know I will be.(not just their dad but also played from U5s to 49 years old and got a couple of coaching badges so I like to think I can be objective and remove myself from the dad point of view)

I always watch keepers and I felt for Rohan on Saturday when I saw the highlights but any mistake is always amplified and at times they become soft targets for results although they have to accept their share of it.  Rohan is a big strong lad but he'll still get buffeted in the box, knocked about and so on and again every mistake is amplified especially if it leads to a goal.  My lad is 6' 7'' and on Saturday got knocked sideways and let a curling free kick past him, straight away he was annoyed with himself but some of the comments from the parents were crazy. I get he let it in but I pointed out what about the free kick in the first place; one of their sons misplaced a pass and their player then dribbled past three players before being chopped down so arguably five mistakes before it got to the free kick.

Yes blame the keeper but then go to the root of the issues not just firefight but as ever no comments about other mistakes in front of him or anything about the numerous saves before hand to keep it 2-0 at the time.

As I said the trials and tribulations of a keeper.....

All players whether an out field player or a keeper will make mistakes.

And Donny is correct in saying that with a keeper it's magnified because it can lead to the opposition scoring.

It's up to the manager to identify where the problem is i.e. is it purely down to the keeper or is the problem elsewhere giving the keeper very little chance to prevent a goal.

I've said it many times that all keepers make mistakes, the problem comes when the same mistakes keep occuring or there is an inherent problem with the keepers game which either gets remedied or inevitably the keeper gets replaced.

Rohan has been a full time keeper since a young lad at Crystal Palace and now Cardiff.

This obviously means he trains/practices all aspects of his game on at least 5 days a week.

I'm not sure anything he's done between Saturday and tonight will change anything.

Agree with this. If clubs pick the goalline as Ebbsfleet did then maybe defenders have saying to get to Rohan you have to go through me.
