A groundhopper from another Forum was at Chalk Lane on Tuesday evening to witness a win for Cockfosters on penalties following a 2-2 draw:

Nothing new for me tonight, (I wasn't going to risk Brora!) so 5 min walk to Chalk Lane.
Fosters had slightly the better of the 1st half but trailed to a 20-yard free kick that went under the wall on 27 min. The equaliser arrived on 57 with a cross from the right turned in from close range. After a lengthy stoppage for a mass break on the hour (just one yellow shown) the home side led on 75 with a pen following a foul on the edge of the box. Harpenden equalised on 88 with a powerful header well placed into the far corner, and 12 mins added time produced no further incident.
Straight to pens with Harpenden's 2nd and Fosters 3rd both going well wide of the left hand post. All the others were comfortably scored until Harpenden's 6th was well saved by the Fosters keeper low to his left.
