I've heard its open at St. Joe's, I've got a permit so I'm heading that way later so we'll see I guess.

The plan is for all the usual car parks to be open, it’s just that St Joe’s is a free for all and not limited to permit holders. Same with seating.

‪Well that was a lot better Rebels! Very fortunate with the early penalty and the sending off obviously helped too. It was very comfortable in the end although we were still guilty of missing a few chances. Great to keep our unbeaten run going plus another clean sheet.

But management team please urgently sort Rohan’s kicking it’s awful and will cost us points. Very disappointing attendance of just 411, surprised as to why it was that low considering prices were reduced, it was mild evening and we’re on a decent run?‬

Presumably Rohan trains most of the week with Cardiff so I would say they play the major role in improving his kicking which as you say seems to be the weak point in his game.

Much improved team performance ahead of what I would consider is a much more important game on Saturday against Weymouth.

We looked at it from the off with some determined attacking play forcing a handball and penalty which was the perfect start.

A deserved sending off followed after what looked like a two footed lunge on Scotty.

A bit disappointing not to capitilise on the extra man for the remainder of the half but mainly due to determined defending from Salisbury and a couple of missed opportunities.

With Scott for some reason taking himself off at half time, we started the second half under pressure and looking a bit shaky at the back.

Once the half settled down the game was never in doubt and the end we ran out comfortable winners.

To go 1 up in the first minute was such a massive boost.

How the ref didn't give the penalty for the handball I don't know.

The sending off was a definite turning point in the match, although to give Salisbury a great deal of credit there were long stretches after this when you wouldn't have known it was 10 v 11.

A great bit of play by David to set up Johnny for the decisive 2nd goal, and a goalie cock up gave us a third.

We could have scored more, as tiredness and a realisation that they were beaten sunk in to the Salisbury players,

I give credit to the Salisbury players ,they battled hard and their manager can have no concerns that they hadn't given their all yesterday.

I can be magnanimous as we won !

I had to laugh at an incident during the game last night.

Scotty goes up for a header near the touchline, misses the ball completely as he gets  a blatant push in the back by a Salisbury player, which is totally ignored by the ref.

Scotty, on his backside as play carries  on around him, looks up to the sky and says " I don't think the referee likes me."

I found it funny anyway !

When the draw came out with us  having to play Ebbsfleet away in the next round my thoughts were totally negative.

Today I feel a lot more positive.

Ebbsfleet are not in a great run of form.

They lost 5-2 yesterday, seem to concede a lot of goals in games quite often, and have lost nearly as many games at home as they have won at home this season in the league.

( 4 home wins v 3 home losses.)

We have got nothing to lose.

They are hot favourites to win, so the pressure is all on them.

It isn't going to be easy, but we can do this !

I feel much better now having read your post HR and knowing that Ebbsfleet have conceded a lot of goals this season.

No better team than us to bang a few goals in and upset the odds 😏

Great to see us in the 4th Qualifying Round.

It would be brilliant if we could get a draw at Ebbsfleet but I think that’s probably a big ask.

A massive ask.

They were by far the best team in the NLS last season and will have strengthened even further.

Still nothing to lose and it is the FA Cup.

They weren't getting beat 6-1, 4-1 or 5-2 last season, results  which have happened this one, and losing matches that heavily cannot fail to have an effect on confidence.

Yes it will be difficult, but I see no reason to be intimidated by a team in the bottom half of the league above us, who have won only 1 and lost 3 of their last 5 league matches.

This is the F.A. Cup after all !

As we all know it's a different ball game in the NL.

Just watched the highlights.

Because the penalty was given so late after the handball it looks like the ref thinks he's seen a shirt pull on Ogbonna as he falls over which is impossible to spot on the video.

On the sending off, whether he catches Scott or not is besides the point, the player has gone in and left the ground at pace, is out of control and only by sheer luck Scott was not seriously injured, definite red.

The highlights video itself was not imo the best quality with some blurred vision when the ball/camera moved at pace.
