Sir rebel if you go back to another topic, you have just posted about East Thurrock folding? You even mentioned money men they had in the past. So what exactly do you want? A chairman to come in and spend all their money and then go bust in a couple of years or a club that has a good strong foundation that we can support for years to come?

The question is, on the one hand paying out to buy in players, yet rumours we have the second lowest budget in the league - so where is the consistency?

What I want is a football club which runs to a budget which is realistic and can be funded in the long-term – a model Steve Easterbrook executed with skill.

We will have to wait and see if the new owners have the same skill.

Sir rebel, I'm not saying anything we all don't know already, but we don't own the ground, Steve did a great job on getting us back into the town, however not only do we not own our ground the tenancy that Steve agreed was the council get 50% of profits from the food and bar, yet Kay and others do an incredible amount of work voluntary yet the council get half of all that. So where are the owners going to get their money for the budget? Realistically we will be one of the smaller budgets in the league.

Well he saved the club after the Deaner years where there was £70,000 of debt owed to the Thornes, he then funded the club for many years until it was on a better footing, two promotions, and delivered Arbour Park, so you might not appreciate what he did, but I do!

Relax i was taking the piss. But seeing as you’re his best mate isn’t it odd he’s not been seen at a game since he left? Have to admit I didn’t recognise seeing him at games before he became involved!

He came in during a time of turmoil, steered the club through dangerous waters where many would have balked and walked away, delivered Arbour Park and left the club in a far better state than he found it. I don't see what your point here is?

Steve always stated he’s been a fan for years but personally I never saw him previously or now after, have you?

Well, I did not see Martyn Deaner at games once he stepped down, or the current owners at games before last season, so what's your point?

The point is he said he was a fan so would you not still come to games just as a fan? It’s no conspiracy so don’t get too upset it’s just an observation.
