Essex FA Senior Cup - 2023/24

Stansted entertain Athletic Newham in the First Round of the prestigious Essex FA Senior Cup, first competed for in 1883/84 when Colchester Town lifted it. Should Stansted be successful they will travel to Romford or Great Wakering Rovers in the Second Round of the competition, see a link to the full draw:

An update on the competition despite Stansted's disappointing 'demise' in the First Round, I wonder why the Essex FA don't just award the cup to Colchester United as clearly they are going to win it:
