Getting back to the football, what a brave move to play three up front and go 4-3-3 I certainly wasn't expecting that. If it hadn't have worked I dare say we would have been inunadated with the moaners on here about such a foolhardy decision and another loss but instead it's great to have got the 3 points in the bag and shut them up so we can all celebrate the outstanding result.

The only downside really on the result is it's a pity Slough couldn't have added more goals to the scoreline in the 2nd half given Weston's Sam Avery's sending off but getting the win is far more important than that. Well done our Rebel lads.

I think Scott said himself that it was a bit of a gamble playing 3 up front and fortunately this time it paid off.

Of course if it hadn't have worked and we had lost the game supporters would have been entitled to question Scott's decision which I'm sure Scott would have done as well.

BTW saying it's 'moaning' is a very negative way of saying someones 'expressing an opinion' which supporters are entitled to do.

I don't mind anyone expressing an opinion. To have a successful fans forum you need a wide range of views/opinions, which in turn helps keep discussion and debate flowing. Otherwise it becomes a very one sided view of something, which of course isn't accurate and can be oppressive.

What word RR, describes negative feedback better than 'moaning'? Do tell me,as I'm not a professor of language !

TBF there could well be good reasons why a lot of supporters don't go to away games especially the distance ones.

As far as I can see I don't think anyone posts views in any detail on a game if they didn't actually attend.

Apart from that they have as much right to post their views as anyone who actually attended.

I moved away from Slough nearly 4 1/2 years ago (unfortunately not to the West Country!). A home match is a fair trek so I only attend the Saturday home games, but there are many who wouldn't do that from where I now live, and that wouldn't make them any less of a fan. The last away game I managed was York, and before that the 5-3 win at Dorking shortly before lockdown.

I'm not sure precisely who the original comment was aimed at, but felt I ought to say something about an excellent morale-boosting win particularly in light of what was said on here during the week. I wouldn't want to be accused of only coming on here to moan 😆

Congratulations to all on a great result yesterday.

I wasn’t at the match but it sounds, from the Scott post match interview, that there were very specific changes that were made to eliminate the errors in the previous two matches, and they worked perfectly.

I can't believe anyone would accuse you of coming on here just to moan Nathan 😅

Wasn't it that Dorking match we literally had all four seasons in one day...😂
