Great performance from the young guns, starting XI all under 23. Dominated Heath throughout, scoreline suggests a closer game than it was. Fair to say we've saved our best displays for the Shield so far this season, and have got our reward with a first final since the 2014 St Marys Cup win. Date/venue TBC, I understand it will be at either Vauxhall Road or Letchworth. 

As an aside, during the first part of our Colney double on Saturday the LC committee were lamenting the move from the Spartan for many of the same reasons we have voiced. There is less travel now, but that's about the only positive. I'm sure Heath realise they are the next cab on the rank in this regard, I hope for their sake they won't be playing us in a league game any time soon.

Tring Athletic and Baldock Town will meet on Tuesday 21 November so Oxhey Jets have some time to wait in order to learn their Final opposition, I understand that Tring Athletic have surrendered home advantage and the delayed Semi Final tie will be played at Hitchin Road, kick off 7.45pm.
