Biggleswade United v Yaxley FC

Biggleswade United will host Yaxley FC on Tuesday 12 December in their Second Round tie. In the mean time Potton United will entertain FC Parson Drove on Tuesday evening (21 November) in a delayed First Round tie with the victors travelling to Pinchbeck United or Eaton Socon who don't meet until Tuesday 5 December in their delayed First Round tie at Sir Halley Stewart Field.

A good win for Eaton Socon last night where, despite a late penalty to win the tie, they were always in control and should have won far more comfortably, it was a good start for the new Management of Craig Smith and Mark Garwood who look forward to pitting their wits against SSML Premier Division opposition, Potton United, in the Second Round of the competition:

Eaton Socon's report on their hard fought win from last Tuesday:

Pinchbeck United 1 Eaton Socon 2
A much changed Eagles side travelled to higher step opposition to set up a mouth watering local derby versus Potton United in the Quarter Final of the Hinchinbrooke Cup.
In fact the home side took an early lead, firing a fine shot over the Veteran Simon White.
This sprung Eaton Socon into life with Fulianty and Stockwell snarling away in the midfield.
It was another new boy, Marley Hamilton, who produced a welcomed equaliser.
After half time the lively Irvine went close and it took an 88th minute winner from the penalty spot from Irvine to seal the win.
A delighted Managerial team said they were happy for the players to get a well deserved victory.
Man of the match went to Leon Fulianty.
Eaton Socon are home to Buckingham Saturday ko. 3.00pm.
