Always thought he was a good player at Bowers and Pitsea.

However, how many more wingers or midfield do we need?

Wingers include Brown (although could play full-back), Saunders, Leahy and now Monville.

Midfield seems to be heavily overloaded with only four out and out defenders (including two left backs) and three strikers.

My thoughts exactly, 

Although when he joined Potters Bar he was described as a “striker who can get on the end of crosses and converts penalties”

So hopefully he has more to offer than hugging the right touch line 👍

Just done the sums;

1 Goalie.

4 Defenders.

10(!) Wingers/midfielders.

3 Strikers.

I agree that it does look like an imbalanced squad.

But 

At Cardiff City Steve Morison preferred a 3-5-2 system

Playing to this system we have a squad of 18 who between them can cover these positions as follows

Goal Keeper x1.5 (Joe Christou being .5)

Defenders x4

Wing Backs x 5

Midfield x 6

Forwards x 4

So if this formation will be used in the new season we are not quite so imbalanced as we would be for a 4 - 3 - 3.

Signing a back up goal keeper and another defender should give us enough depth to start the season with.

Still quite a bit of time until the start of the season - I think we’ve got a very good core, might need maybe a couple more players to be ready

I think we need a right back to replace Mickey , however I don’t know what the formation(s) will be. Second keeper in is a good move

Totally agree, we were lucky that Mickey could play anywhere across the back 4, so great cover.

That is some second keeper TBH!

We never really had an issue going forward, more an issue in Midfield and centre back, our formation was always very predictable , so lets see if it changes.
