Well I was sort of right! The new shirt design was decided upon a while back, but it’s finer points like sponsor logos that are just being finalised before shirts can be worn by the players and replicas made available.

Still not sure why it looks to have been a closely guarded secret but I'm sure we'll all look forward to seeing the new away shirt imminently.

Should not be waiting too long. The away shirt was on display for those who were at the Media Day yesterday.

It’s not a case of secrecy, more trying to do things properly and not launching a new shirt before all the details have been finalised and there’s a stock of images to use.  Whilst it is true that the new shirt was on display last night, it was more for the players to use for their squad photos.

Of course it wouldn't be a disaster but there are supporters who like to wear the official away colors that the team will be wearing.
