The Bank Holiday results, there are two additional Division Two fixtures on Wednesday evening due to the unfortunate abandonments on Saturday, too bad for anyone who was planning to attend the Division Two Cup Final at Forde Park:

Two groundhoppers from another Forum were at this one, strangely the weather couldn't have been better at Manor Road:

A tidy up job as my previous visit here was back in 1999-2000 season to see Caddington play on what is now the back pitch. They are now playing on the pitch adjacent to the large clubhouse. It is railed on this side and behind one goal. The far side is where the cricket square is and is roped off on this side. The other end of the pitch is adjacent to trees and bushes and is inaccessible.
Both teams are in midtable but Berkhamsted started on the front foot and were two goals up after just 10 minutes. They added two more before halftime with Caddington very poor in defence although they kept plugging away up front but couldn't find a way past the Raiders defence. A fifth goal ten minutes from the end completed the scoring.
Attendance of 43 with drinks available in the very busy clubhouse.
Pre-match I visited the Rising Sun at Slip End which is just down the road from Caddington. The Farr brewery 'Our Most Potent Porter' was very quaffable!

Also at this, and pleased that Mother Nature defied the doomsayers at the Met Office with barely a drop of rain falling all afternoon.
I think Caddington had a few players missing as one of their people mentioned early doors that they’d do well to keep the score down to 6-0 today. So job done!
I’ve seen a few mentions in recent months about the old cover by the old pitch but don’t recall seeing a photo. So here’s one, with the club’s name just about still visible on the narrow fascia, and today’s game going on in the background.

Last night's single result, a one sided affair that saw the hosts lead 3-0 at the break with strikes from Rob Doncaster, Billy Harrison and Ryan Macdonald, McDonald hammered the final nail into the Green Lane Club's coffin after they had pulled a goal back:
