As I said not an impossible goal difference to overcome but if it's +8 and we lose 4-0 and Dulwich win 4-0 we will get what we deserve.

In that scenario where the goal difference is level would it go down to head to head meetings or goals scored?

And we're 2 points ahead of Dover so they need to win

Let's not forget Dover are losing to Weymouth next week.

You're right Nathan but considering the position and situation we were in when Scott took over it's a minor miracle that we are still in the NLS next season.

Mind you it won't get any easier with clubs like Torquay, Yeovil and Maidstone to contend with next season.

I agree RR, when Bakes and Unders resigned the writing looked on the wall for Slough's relegation.

Scott and Lee[and Tony] have worked wonders turning around our fortunes. I can't say everything looks rosy in our camp, and there will need to be improvements next season with our squad in terms of player recruitment but least we have a glimmer of optimism looking ahead now.

Yes, going to be one hell of a battle if Slough are up for the game [forget complacent !].

Interested to see what the first eleven will be today,if players are rested [though will be subs]. I can't see Scott not playing himself, for what is a crucial match unless he's carrying an injury.

However, he did decide not to play himself.

The mighty Rebels were a big draw to The Wessex Stadium yesterday ... or was it that a weekend boozing in Weymouth was a big draw for visiting Rebels supporters!

Weymouth's three highest gates at The Wessex Stadium this season have been :-

2,934 5th November 2022 FA Cup 1st Round Proper AFC Wimbledon

1,488 : 26th December 2022 National League South Taunton Town

1,226 : 22nd April 2023 National League South Slough Town

I guess everybody else knows the reason apart from me, ( which is quite often the case ), but I was surprised to see the teamsheet half an hour before kick off on Saturday and Francis Amartey wasn't down to start or even be on the sub's bench.

He was listed in the squad  for the Weymouth game the night before on the website, so I'm wondering if he will  be available for the Braintree game ?

On rebels radio I think they said he got injured in the warm up which doesn't sound good.

If that's the case did anyone at the game see Francis in the dug out?

I was told about an hour before kick-off that he’d picked up a knock in training on Thursday night.

I’m assuming reason he was named in the squad on Friday is the hope might have been he could be on the bench at least.

Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious and he’ll be ok for Saturday as we definitely missed him at Weymouth.

Busy close season for Scott Be nice to have it confirmed he’s our manager

Once the seasons finished and we have our owners/supporters forum I reckon that's when we'll hear.

Talking of busy close season I see Hampton have already announced that two players have committed for next season.
